Coldfang lunged at Darkheart to make him leave while letting out growls. He then turned back to Icestep and mewed softly, "How could you do that? I love you so much, I couldnt even think of another she-cat I would be with, but you."

Darkheart growled but pelted out of the den. "I love you too. I never wanted to have Darkheart's kit...but I'll treat him the same as your kit." she mewed.

Coldfang purred then it was cut off, "I could have stopped you! He forced you to have a kit with him!" He yowled.

"It was when we were on patrol. You were all the way at camp. Let's forget about it." Icestep sighed. "What do you want to name him?" she asked, nudging the other tom that looked like Coldfang.

"I will name him, Blizzardkit." Coldfang purred, "I'm sorry." He mewed bending down to give Icestep a few licks.

"You think so? I was hoping you would like the name. I spend all night thinking on what to name them, when they were born." Coldfang mewed as he stroked Blizzardkit, and he let out mewls of protest.

Darkkit stumbled blindly towards Coldfang. Icestep couldn't stop purring.

Coldfang started to back away, but then realized that the kit's father didnt matter. He gently picked up the kit and purred.

Blizzardkit snozzed soundly and scented his parents around him.

Darkkit woke up and yawned. He was shedding his fluffy kit fur and now had thick, sleek, and beautiful dark ginger fur that looked like fire.

Blizzardkit popped open his round crystal blue eyes and then began to yawn. He scented his mother, but not his father.

"Good morning,my hansome sons!" Icestep mewed cheerfully. "Morning, Icestep." Darkkit replied, licking his mother's cheek. His dark green eyes glowed with happiness.

Blizzardkit jumped up and purred, "Good morning!" Then his eyes started to fill with saddness. "Where's Coldfang?"

Blizzardkit started to wail softly and then pressed against Icestep. "Is he coming back soon?"

Coldfang bursted though the backen and smiled to the warm gazes from his mate and kits. "Hello." He purred loudly.

Blizzardkit then saw his father and rushed to his side and started to rub against him.

Darkkit padded up to his father. "Coldfang! How was the patrol?" he asked. Icestep joined her kits in greeting her mate.

"It was good. But i missed you guys. I missed a plump mouse because of you." Coldfang joked, "But I got him." Coldfang bent his head down and nuzzled his kits.

"I wish I could've gone!" Darkkit mewed. Then he saw Darkheart pad into the nursery. "You have kits, Darkheart?" Darkkit asked curiously.

Coldfang growled, he couldnt let go of wha had happened with Darkheart and his mate. Coldfang then curled his long tail around Darkkit and Blizzardkit and pulled them close, "What do you want Darkheart?" Coldfang growled darkly.
